    This prep course consists of 40 hours. The course is for two weeks 4 hours per day. The following is the content of course:

  • Lesson 1: Introduction for GED Preparation
    This Introductory lesson will display information about the GED- such as what is on this test, where to take this test, and strategies for preparing for this test.
  • Lesson 2: The Language Arts and Writing Test (Part 1)/ Sentence Structure and Organization
    This lesson will display tips and test strategies as well as highlight key sentence structure concepts that will be used on GED test questions.
  • Lesson 3: The Language Arts and Writing Test (Part 1)/ Grammar Topics This lesson will display tips and test strategies as well as highlight key grammar concepts that will be used on GED test questions.
  • Lesson 4: The Language Arts and Writing Test (Part 1)/ Frequent Spelling and Diction Errors
    This lesson will display tips and test strategies as well as highlight frequent spelling and diction errors that will be used on GED test questions.
  • Lesson 5: The Language Arts and Writing Test (Part 2)/ The Essay Test This lesson will break down how to write the essay test.
  • Lesson 6: The Language Arts and Writing Test (Part 2)/ The Essay Test Additional information about the Essay Exam
  • Lesson 7: The Social Studies Test/ Reading Information This lesson will highlight and summarize the social studies section and present strategies for how to read and answer test questions.
  • Lesson 8: The Social Studies Test/ Reading Tables, Graphs, Maps and Political Cartoons This lesson will focus on how to read and answer questions dealing with information in tables, graphs, maps, and political cartoons.
  • Lesson 9: The Social Studies Test/History and Economics This lesson will highlight and summarize content areas that will require the knowledge of History and Economic facts.
  • Lesson 10: The Social Studies Test/ Geography, Political Science and Behavioral Studies This lesson will highlight and summarize content areas that will require the knowledge of Geography, Political Science and Behavioral Studies.
  • Lesson 11: The Science Test/ Reading Information This lesson will display tips and strategies as well as highlight and review Science Terminology you will need to know for the GED test.
  • Lesson 12: The Science Test/ Biology This lesson will highlight and review the biological functions in living organisms. The foundation of Biological Sciences is centered on the cell which will be the focus of GED test questions.
  • Lesson 13: The Science Test/ Earth and Space Structure This lesson will highlight and review the structural changes and climate patterns of Earth and Space.
  • Lesson 14: The Science Test/ Chemistry This lesson will highlight and review some of the content knowledge of chemistry that will be part of this GED test.
  • Lesson 15: The Science Test/ Physical Science This lesson will highlight and review some of the content knowledge of physics that will be part of this GED test.
  • Lesson 16: The Mathematics Test/ Mathematics Part 1 This lesson will highlight and review mathematical concepts emphasized on the GED test that deal with whole numbers and their operations
  • Lesson 17: The Mathematics Test/ Mathematics Part 2 This lesson will review the mathmatical concepts that reflect the parts of whole numbers.
  • Lesson 18: The Mathematics Test/ Algebra Part 1 This lesson will highlight and review algebra concepts emphasized on the GED test.
  • Lesson 19: The Mathematics Test/ Algebra Part 2 Review of Algebra Concepts
  • Lesson 20: The Mathematics Test/ Geometry Part 1 This lesson will highlight and review geometry concepts emphasized on the GED test.
  • Lesson 21: The Mathematics Test/ Geometry Part 2 Review of Geometry
  • Lesson 22: The Language Arts and Reading Test- Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry and Drama This lesson will display tips and tools needed to interpret Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry and Reading passages.
